INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Important notices to authors:
The EAEEIE 2019 conference aims to achieve the paper quality required for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. All submitted abstracts will go through a double-blind review process and the author that submitted the abstract will be notified of the results. The authors of the accepted abstracts will be then invited to submit the full papers using the IEEE paper template. The submitted papers will be further reviewed by members of the technical program committee and/or external reviewers. The authors of the accepted papers will have to prepare the camera-ready versions of the papers and submit them to the EAEEIE 2019 Conference Local organizing committee.
Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and the EAEEIE 2019 Conference will reject papers from authors that were engaged in either of these practices.
The authors of the accepted papers must transfer copyright to IEEE by utilizing the electronic IEEE Copyright Form (eCF), which will be provided to them by the conference organizers. The IEEE policy requires that all accepted papers are checked for plagiarism. This will be accomplished through the IEEE CrossCheck Portal, as the paper copyright will be transferred to the IEEE.
For publication in the EAEEIE Conference Proceedings and for publication in the IEEEXplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full or limited (member or non-member) rate. ALL accepted paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference, unless the Conference Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, camera-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers – one full registration is valid for all accepted papers, but the additional papers will be charged at a rate of 50€ per paper. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the EAEEIE 2019 Conference Proceedings (electronic version only) and submitted to IEEE Xplore®, as well as to other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases, including Scopus®, Google Scholar and the dblp computer science bibliography DB.
PAPERS TEMPLATES
The EAEEIE 2019 Conference will accept only papers that are prepared using the standard IEEE templates, which are available here: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
Paper Size limits:
Minimum number of pages: 4
Maximum number of pages: 6
Extra pages: Up to 4 extra pages are allowed per paper, but the overall paper size should not exceed 10 pages. The fee for the extra pages is 10 Euro per page.
